Vincent Oakley qualified as a solicitor in 1985. Although he worked with some great lawyers he never really found the firm that he wanted to work for so in 1999 he set up his own practice to do things his own way.
He has a personal interest in brain injury litigation and has had some excellent results for clients in that sphere. He has also worked alongside the leading experts in the UK such as Bill Braithwaite QC, Gerrard Martin QC, Catherine Howells, Maggie Sargent (registered nurse and cost of care expert), Julia Ho (occupational therapist), David Price (neurosurgeon), Dr Neil Brooks (neuropsychologist), Dr David Johnson (neuropsychologist), Hugh Spencley (architect specialising in accommodation for disabled people), Dr Anjum Bashir (neuropsychiatrist). A a neurolawyer Vincent has personally recovered over £8 million for brain injured clients.
In recent years he has reverted to wills and probate work which he began in 1982.
